The Truth About Hair and why Native/Indians would keep their hair long
Reported by C. Young
This information about hair has been hidden from the public since the Viet Nam War .
Our culture leads people to believe that hair style is a matter of personal preference, that hair style is a matter of fashion and/or convenience, and that how people wear their hair is simply a cosmetic issue. Back in the Viet Nam war however, an entirely different picture emerged, one that has been carefully covered up and hidden from public view.
In the early nineties, Sally [name changed to protect privacy] was married to a licensed psychologist who worked at a VA Medical hospital. He worked with combat veterans with PTSD, post traumatic stress disorder. Most of them had served in Viet Nam.
Sally said, \” I remember clearly an evening when my husband came back to our apartment on Doctor\’s Circle carrying a thick official looking folder in his hands. Inside were hundreds of pages of certain studies commissioned by the government. He was in shock from the contents. What he read in those documents completely changed his life. From that moment on my conservative middle of the road husband grew his hair and beard and never cut them again. What is more, the VA Medical center let him do it, and other very conservative men in the staff followed his example. As I read the documents, I learned why. It seems that during the Viet Nam War special forces in the war department had sent undercover experts to comb American Indian Reservations looking for talented scouts, for tough young men trained to move stealthily through rough terrain. They were especially looking for men with outstanding, almost supernatural, tracking abilities. Before being approached, these carefully !
selected men were extensively documented as experts in tracking and survival.
With the usual enticements, the well proven smooth phrases used to enroll new recruits, some of these indian trackers were then enlisted. Once enlisted, an amazing thing happened. Whatever talents and skills they had possessed on the reservation seemed to mysteriously disappear, as recruit after recruit failed to perform as expected in the field.
Serious casualities and failures of performance led the government to contract expensive testing of these recruits, and this is what was found.
When questioned about their failure to perform as expected, the older recruits replied consistantly that when they received their required military haircuts, they could no longer \’sense\’ the enemy, they could no longer access a \’sixth sense\’ , their \’intuition\’ no longer was reliable, they couldn\’t \’read\’ subtle signs as well or access subtle extrasensory information.
So the testing institute recruited more indian trackers, let them keep their long hair, and tested them in multiple areas. Then they would pair two men together who had received the same scores on all the tests. They would let one man in the pair keep his hair long, and gave the other man a military haircut. Then the two men retook the tests.
Time after time the man with long hair kept making high scores. Time after time, the man with the short hair failed the tests in which he had previously scored high scores.
Here is a typical test:
The recruit is sleeping out in the woods. An armed \’enemy\’ approaches the sleeping man. The long haired man is awakened out of his sleep by a strong sense of danger and gets away long before the enemy is close, long before any sounds from the approaching enemy are audible.
In another version of this test the long haired man senses an approach and somehow intuits that the enemy will perform a physical attack. He follows his \’sixth sense\’ and stays still, pretending to be sleeping, but quickly grabs the attacker and \’kills\’ him as the attacker reaches down to strangle him.
This same man, after having passed these and other tests, then received a military haircut and consistantly failed these tests, and many other tests that he had previously passed.
So the document recommended that all Indian trackers be exempt from military haircuts. In fact, it required that trackers keep their hair long. \”

The mammalian body has evolved over millions of years. Survival skills of human and animal at times seem almost supernatural. Science is constantly coming up with more discoveries about the amazing abilities of man and animal to survive. Each part of the body has highly sensitive work to perform for the survival and well being of the body as a whole. The body has a reason for every part of itself.
Hair is an extension of the nervous system, it can be correctly seen as exteriorized nerves, a type of highly evolved \’feelers\’ or \’antennae\’ that transmit vast amounts of important information to the brainstem, the limbic system, and the neocortex.
Not only does hair in people, including facial hair in men, provide an information highway reaching the brain, hair also emits energy, the electromagnetic energy emitted by the brain into the outer environment. This has been seen in Kirlian photography when a person is photographed with long hair and then rephotographed after the hair is cut.
When hair is cut, receiving and sending transmissions to and from the environment are greatly hampered. This results in numbing-out .
Cutting of hair is a contributing factor to unawareness of environmental distress in local ecosystems. It is also a contributing factor to insensitivity in relationships of all kinds. It contributes to sexual frustration.
Conclusion:
In searching for solutions for the distress in our world, it may be time for us to consider that many of our most basic assumptions about reality are in error. It may be that a major part of the solution is looking at us in the face each morning when we see ourselves in the mirror.
The story of Sampson and Delilah in the Bible has a lot of encoded truth to tell us. When Delilah cut Sampson\’s hair, the once undefeatable Sampson was defeated.

Huge 'Ocean' Discovered Inside Earth
Scientists scanning the deep interior of Earth have found evidence of a vast water reservoir beneath eastern Asia that is at least the volume of the Arctic Ocean.
The discovery marks the first time such a large body of water has found in the planet’s deep mantle.
The finding, made by Michael Wysession, a seismologist at Washington University in St. Louis, and his former graduate student Jesse Lawrence, now at the University of California, San Diego, will be detailed in a forthcoming monograph to be published by the American Geophysical Union.

A Time for Multidimensional Detox- via Cosmicessence By-Katie Gallanti
As we awaken spiritually, we often first go through shedding the baggage of childhood. After a while though, if our vibration continues to increase, we will begin to activate the Soul bodies, the ones that go beyond the physical experience into the multidimensional.
As the Soul bodies awaken, so does the baggage stored at the Soul level, which also includes a sheath of the DNA which corresponds to the bodies that are being activated (which is ultimately what is meant when people talk about DNA activation and DNA clearing).
The Soul Bodies and the Soul related portions of the DNA sheath contain what is know as the akashic records. From an energy standpoint, the akashic records are nothing but the energetic imprint of all lifetimes lived and experienced by the Soul, stored as energy packages within the multidimensional matrix.
As the light increases and these Soul-aspects are re-awakened, these energy packages will also activate. And with them any trauma or blockage stored within these will also come back online. This is a large part of what is being heightened by the current influx of light: the light is now high enough in consciousness to spontaneously trigger the Soul bodies into awakening. And with these, however, the corresponding baggage also comes online.
This is why it is an important part of this journey, when the time is right and when guided, to address also past life issues and past life clearing, either through energy clearing (removing of stored energetic imprints in the Soul bodies) or via past life regression work. if you are having issues in your life that feel karmic in nature, which usually manifest as relationship issues, mysterious ailments, or sudden dramas, know that you have probably activated a past life bubble. And if you get stuck in it, now is a good time to address those aspect too and to engage in past life detox.

Astrology Report - September 2011
September is highlighted by Pluto going stationary direct in mid-month, bringing a new sense of empowerment into our lives. The New Moon in Libra follows this trend, being the fourth of six Super Moons for this year. The Sun will also make a powerful alignment with the Super Galactic Center later this month.
We begin the month under the beginning of the August 28 New Moon in Virgo, which carries forth the themes of efficiency, pragmatism and discernment. We are being called on now to be more versatile and flexible, as events can move more rapidly at this time.
Since Mercury has turned direct, some key aspects will now be repeated over the next few months to give us a second chance to rethink decisions or gain a new outlook. On August 8, Mercury in Leo opposed Neptune in Aquarius, which could have led to errors or deception. On September 8, Mercury will again oppose Neptune at the same degree and sign, which will give us the perspective to ideally obtain a better outcome. Mercury’s entry into Virgo today should help us sort out the details and gain more discernment.
From September 11-14, Mercury makes a favorable grand earth trine with Jupiter and Pluto. This aspect gives an expansive and empowering outlook that will also provide substance for one’s ideas. This would be a good time for taking constructive action to improve one’s business or finances.
The Full Moon occurs on September 12 at 19 Pisces. Pisces themes include increased sensitivity and intuition, along with being emotional, compassionate and inspirational. The shadow side is being impractical, deceptive and escapist. Although there can be a conflict between the ideal and the real, a challenging Saturn aspect can bring some needed grounding.
This lunation cycle favors learning or teaching, especially subjects involved with spirituality or creativity. The Sabian symbols for these degrees suggest the importance of cooperative effort to reach worthwhile goals. A secondary meaning reads: “…and at the appointed time the individual’s needs will be met among those to whom he is linked by a spiritual (or biological) web of energies.”
On September 16, Pluto turns stationary direct at 5 Capricorn. Since Pluto moves slowly now, this energy is intensified throughout the month. This is a good time to look at power and control issues, along with what needs to be released so we can move forward. Where in our lives can we become more empowered? Since this degree is also conjunct last year’s June lunar eclipse, events now may relate back to that time period.
On September 18, we may experience some relationship or financial challenges when Venus squares Pluto. If we can find better ways to cooperate, any mistrust or resentment can be alleviated. Mars enters Leo today, which brings more optimism and drive for accomplishment.
The Autumn Equinox takes place on September 23 at 0 Libra, ushering in another energetic wave. Also today, Mars in Leo trines Uranus in Aries, which encourages us to take an energetic, unique and innovative approach. On September 24, the Sun aligns with the Super Galactic Center at 2 Libra. As the World Degree is triggered by these dynamic aspects, this week could be a powerful time resulting in major world events and earth changes. The upcoming lunation aspects will also add to this momentous effect.
The New Moon occurs on September 27 at 4 Libra. This is the fourth of six Super Moons for this year, with each one expanding our energy field and consciousness. The focus for the next month will be on the Libra themes of relationships and partnerships; and how to achieve more cooperation, equality, balance, peace and harmony in our lives. The shadow side of Libra tends toward indecisiveness and striving for peace at any price. The Sabian symbol for this degree suggests a similar cooperation theme: “Around a campfire a group of young people sit in spiritual communion; the necessity to unite with kindred spirits as one enters unbeaten paths illumined by the still-insecure light of a dawning intuition of new values.”
This powerful lunation aligns with Mercury and forms a challenging t-square with both Uranus and Pluto. This energy can result in innovative actions by some individuals, while others may be very rebellious and strong-willed. This can easily lead to dissension as opposing forces war against each other. Mercury in Libra suggests that balanced communication and cooperation will be key factors in resolving any conflicts. During this month it will be beneficial to practice really listening to each other rather than just speaking from our own personal agendas. For further background on creating more harmony in communications, I recommend the book, Nonviolent Communication, by Marshall Rosenberg.
On September 29, there may be more relationship conflicts when Venus aligns with Saturn. Now our own personal needs may take precedence and we may feel more isolated from others. However, a favorable aspect from Sun/Mercury to Mars quickens the pace with new ideas and possible opportunities.
In October the New Moon aligns with bountiful Jupiter. Blessings for a joyful autumn!
